DJ Xclusive was described as billionaire businesswoman Folorunsho Alakija’s son. Only thing is; he’s not her son. But he sure deserves to be on any ‘hottest list!’

Chris Oyakhilome denies adultery accusations, threatens to sue journalists

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, who is currently in divorce court with his estranged wife Anita Oyakhilome has denied adultery accusations and has threatened to sue journalists who publish stories about himself and his wife. In a statement released via his lawyer Mr. Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) a few hours ago, Pastor Oyakhilome said the accusations of adultery against him is 'false and malicious'. "The attention of our client, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, and the church has been drawn to the wave of false, malicious and fabricated stories being published in the print and electronic media about his person, the church and a matrimonial cause between him and his wife," his attorney stated. These contradict her claims that the leader of Christ Embassy Church had indeed been unfaithful during their "terribly degenerated" marriage, something she disclosed through counsel to Premium Times earlier Wednesday. Chris Oyakhilome characterized the media's coverage of his wife's efforts to divorce him as “complete distortion of the facts in the pending proceedings in the United Kingdom”, the statement cited the coverage as "selfishly motivated" for political and financial advantage. Oyakhilome's counsel further said the media's coverage was engineered to bring him and the church shame and ridicule, though his wife was the person who aired the allegations against him. Earlier today, Wednesday, Mrs. Oyakhilome even told Premium Times, through counsel, that the marriage had "terribly degenerated". The statement also acknowledged freedom of the press, but quite contradictorily cautioned that further action will be taken to safeguard the image of the church and the pastor if coverage continued. "Be warned therefore that unless the concerned media houses desist from further publishing words and stories which are false and damaging of our client’s reputation and the church, we shall, without further recourse to the concerned publishers, promptly embark on appropriate legal machinery with a view to protecting our client’s reputation and that of the church."

Fifa threatens to suspend Nigeria

Nigeria will be suspended from world football on Monday at 07:00 GMT if Chris Giwa does not give up his claim to be football federation president. World governing body Fifa issued the ultimatum, reiterating that it does not recognise his election on 26 August. The ban will only be lifted when the NFF board as it stood on 25 August, with Aminu Maigari as president, are allowed back to their offices to work. Fresh elections for a new NFF committee must then be held as soon as possible. The final deadline was decided by Fifa's emergency committee on Wednesday after an initial date of 1 September passed without Giwa stepping aside. If the ban comes into force on Monday it means the African champions would not be able to play their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 10 September in South Africa. Nigeria were banned from global football for nine days in July for government interference in the running of the football federation when Maigari was forced out of his post by a court ruling. After his reinstatement, he was voted out of office by the NFF's executive committee a few days later. However, Fifa did not accept this and Maigari was once again back as president in August.

CeeLo apologizes about comments on rape after losing his reality show

A few days ago, CeeLo Green shared his disturbing opinions regarding rape on social media. During a debate with his fans, CeeLo said 'real rape victims remember being raped', this was after he was accused of drugging a woman and having sex with her (read here). A few days after making these comments, TBS canceled his reality show 'The Good Life', a show that was supposed to re-launch CeeLo's old group, Goodie Mob, back onto the music scene. CeeLo has apologized for the tweets.

BREAKING NEWS! Big Brother Africa House Burns, Show Postponed

Big Brother Africa Hotshots will not start on Sunday as planned due to a fire incident in the BBA house. The show was due to start on September 7 at the Sesani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa but has now been suspended indefinitely. According to an M-Net press release “M-Net and Endemol SA advise that due to a devastating fire at the Big Brother house on 2 September 2014, Big Brother Hotshots will not launch this Sunday (7 September) as scheduled. The cause of the fire at this stage is unknown and investigations will commence as soon as it is safe to do so.” At this stage M-Net and Endemol are urgently looking for an alternative Big Brother house in which to film the production, however as this production has highly technical infrastructure, camera and edit requirements an alternative is not immediately available. Every effort will be made to find a solution as quickly as possible to ensure that Africa’s biggest reality show will continue.” There were no casualties recorded from the incident.

Danny Welbeck: Arsenal sign Man Utd forward in £16m deal

The 23-year-old, capped 26 times by England, has signed a "long-term deal" at the Emirates Stadium.
"Everyone at Arsenal welcomes Danny to the club and looks forward to his contribution in an Arsenal shirt this season," a club statement read.
Welbeck, who scored 29 goals in 142 United appearances, was told he could leave given the impending arrival of Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco.
Arsenal say the Welbeck deal is subject "to the completion of regulatory formalities".
The Manchester-born forward, who joined United's academy aged eight, also played 28 times during a loan spell with Sunderland, and made a further eight appearances for Preston.

Cee Lo Green shares his ideas about rape

In 2012, a woman accused singer Cee Lo Green of spiking her drink with ecstasy and then had sex with her without her consent. According to the police report, Cee Lo took the accuser on a date in July and the next thing she remembers is waking up naked in bed with Cee Lo in the room.

Sexual battery charges were never filed against Lo because the prosecutor could not find enough evidence to prove the sex was not consensual. But just last week, Cee Lo pleaded no contest to one felony count of furnishing Ecstasy and was sentenced to 3 years probation.

When fans asked him about the case on Twitter yesterday, Lo shared some pretty disturbing ideas about rape. In a debate with his fans about pleading no contest,  Lo said 'women who are really raped remember it'. Continue...

In an interview with Olisa Adibua on his new TV program called The Truth, Wizkid opened up on his recent beef with Davido. Below is what he said;

"That situation was just so funny to me because we were all on the same flight. I got back, I was really tweeting about my show. I was talking about myself. I had a show in New York before that, that was like a year ago, or two years ago, it was sold out, sound was bad, venue we used was crazy....it was f**ked up. I land for airport nah, I was going to my hotel, drove through the venue, I saw my name in lights, and I saw my venue and I was like "Wow! This is me?" Came down, took a picture , posted it - I do proper shows, proper venues. People started catching feelings" Continue...
"Everyone should be mad at that. If that was the case, then everyone like Iyanya, everyone that has done shows in the US should say something.

"When I saw that, it was funny. It was all just play. I no get time abeg. I do proper shows. So if you get mad at that, that means, why you mad? You don't do proper shows, proper venues? Why are you mad? I wasn't talking about nobody. I was promoting my show. I feel like if I'm doing something for myself, happy about my success and you are hating at my success, I don' know what to say to you. Should I consider you as a friend or foe? I don't know"
